Strong public schools shape lives, strengthen communities and determine Cincinnati’s future. Until now, there hasn’t been a clear, coordinated way for the community to support CPS. That changes in 2026.
Cincinnati Public Schools and Activities Beyond the Classroom partnered to create KidFuture CPS, an independent nonprofit dedicated to strengthening public education by aligning community investments with district priorities in a strategic and equitable way.
We build on ABC’s long-standing commitment to students while expanding our role and reach. Today, we bring greater alignment, equity and strategic focus to how CPS is supported.
Acting as both a bridge and connector between CPS and the community, we use insight, data and objectivity to identify where investments–inside and beyond the classroom–can have the greatest impact. By funding proven programs and district priorities, KidFuture moves beyond transactional giving to drive lasting, community-powered change for students and the systems that support them.

Every child, regardless of zip code, deserves the tools, support and inspiration needed to thrive academically.
Students succeed when they feel safe, supported and seen, and resources that nurture emotional, social and physical well-being are critical to their success.
Connecting classrooms to careers gives students confidence, skills, and real-world experiences needed to navigate life and contribute to Cincinnati’s future workforce.
Exposure beyond the classroom opens doors to curiosity, belonging, and opportunity in their neighborhood, city, and beyond.
This is a defining moment for Cincinnati’s students. Strong public schools require more than support, they require alignment.
